Carrie DeCoro
Carrie
DeCoro is a U.S. and International Patent Paralegal and Office Manager at the Firm. She performs a
variety of tasks including domestic and international patent prosecution,
client support, and office management and administration. Ms. DeCoro has
more than 7 years of patent prosecution experience, and more than 11 years of
civil litigation experience relating to various areas including construction
defect, real estate acquisitions and insurance defense. She is
experienced in litigation support and docketing, discovery requests and
responses, and filing of all USPTO and court papers, as well as corporate
filings.
Ms.
DeCoro has an Associate of Legal Science (Paralegal Studies), and is a
certified paralegal.
Rebecca
T. Beach
Ms. Beach is a U.S. and International Patent Paralegal
with Gazdzinski & Associates. Prior to joining the Firm, she was employed by the Catalyst Law Group
of San Diego in the patent and trademark field, where she was primarily responsible for electronic filings with the USPTO. She also has more than 10
years experience in office administration and small business management, and
five years experience in probate estate, residential and commercial
appraising as a certified appraiser. Her experience also includes management
of an engineering library/blue print room and associated database for an
engineering firm.
Ms.
Beach has an Associate of Legal Science (Paralegal Studies), and is a
certified paralegal. She is also
fluent in German and Dutch.
Susan Tassinari
Ms.
Tassinari is billing coordinator and assistant office manager with Gazdzinski
& Associates. She has
several years experience with small business management and administration in
a variety of disciplines.
Alexandra Benitez
Ms. Benitez is a docketing clerk with Gazdzinski & Associates. She has more than 10 years experience in the legal field, and more than 7 years of IP docketing experience.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Benitez worked for the law firm of Knobbe, Martens, Olson and Bear in San Diego, CA for several years as a U.S.
Docketing Agent, where she was primarily responsible for electronic filings with the USPTO.
She is also fluent in Spanish.
Kathryn S. Wilson
Ms. Wilson is an International Patent Specialist with Gazdzinski & Associates, PC. Prior to joining the Firm, she was employed by McDermott, Will & Emery LLP of San Diego as a Foreign Patent Specialist, where she was primarily responsible for foreign patent prosecution. In addition, she also worked at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP of San Diego as a Patent and Trademark Prosecution Assistant for 5 years, where she was primarily responsible for assisting the Prosecution Department's US and foreign Patent and Trademark portfolios' as well as electronic filings with the USPTO.
Ms. Wilson has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Auburn University.
Brandi Brosz
Ms. Brosz is a Patent and Trademark and Litigation Paralegal with Gazdzinski & Associates, PC. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Brosz was employed by Fish & Richardson P.C. of San Diego in their Litigation Department as a Litigation Paralegal, and prior to that worked in Office Records. She has trial experience as both a paralegal and secretary in districts across the U.S. Ms. Brosz is a certified Paralegal; she received her Paralegal certificate in Litigation from the University of San Diego (USD) in 2004.
She also has a BFA in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego, CA.
Rose Flanagan
Ms. Flanagan is an International Patent Specialist with Gazdzinski & Associates, PC. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Flanagan was employed by McDermott, Will & Emery LLP and Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, LLP, and has more than 12 years of experience working with U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. Ms. Flanagan’s extensive patent background includes managing large, client-specific portfolios, from establishing docketing procedures and protocols to assisting attorneys and patent agents in all aspects of patent prosecution on behalf of the client.
