Carrie DeCoro Carrie DeCoro performs a variety of tasks at the firm, including domestic patent prosecution, client support, and office management and administration. Ms. DeCoro has more than 5 years of patent prosecution experience, and more than 11 years of civil litigation experience relating to various areas including construction defect, real estate acquisitions and insurance defense. She is experienced in litigation support and docketing, discovery requests and responses, and filing of all USPTO and court papers, as well as corporate filings. John C. Duran Mr. Duran is an international patent specialist with Gazdzinski & Associates. He has more than 12 years of intellectual property experience, including many years in international patent prosecution, docketing and portfolio management at intellectual property firms including Fish & Richardson, Lyon & Lyon, and Brobeck Phleger. He has an Associate of Applied Science (Paralegal Studies), and is a certified paralegal and Notary Public. Mr. Duran was also a United States Marine, during which time he was awarded the Navy Expeditionary Medal, Unit Citation Commendation, Sharpshooter Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Rebecca T. Beach Ms. Beach is a Patent Paralegal with Gazdzinski & Associates. Prior to joining the Firm, she was employed by the Catalyst Law Group of San Diego in the patent and trademark field. She also has more than 10 years experience in office administration and small business management, and five years experience in probate estate, residential and commercial appraising as a certified appraiser. Her experience also includes management of an engineering library/blue print room and associated database for an engineering firm. Ms. Beach has an Associate of Legal Science (Paralegal Studies), and is a certified paralegal. She is also fluent in German and Dutch. Susan Tassinari Ms. Tassinari is billing coordinator and administrative assistant with Gazdzinski & Associates. She has several years experience with small business management and administration in a variety of disciplines.
